MORE FROM THE NEIGHBORHOOD

To top off the attractive yard displays, other neighbors gave me free reign with their beautiful
hot pink bouganvillea and their yellow bells.
So much fun for me!

Although I said "hot pink", I
hope you take delight in the amazing
color combinations in these blooms.
I am truly thankful for the generosity
displayed by our neighbors.

Just see the beauty in the colors
contained in this scene!

A MORNING WALK AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD

We are blessed to live in a neighborhood where folks love God, Country, each other, the dogs, and the cats! Now, please understand,  not one of us is so delighted with the skunks, possums, squirrels, or whatever additional strange creatures show themselves (or not), and, on occasion even leave their own personal calling cards. (Those are not so much welcome, either!) But, let's look on the sunny side, at the beauty that is wherever we choose to see it:

PRETTY PINK PETALS

Our neighbor, Kathy Snowden, recently invited me to come visit her huge pink hibiscus. What joy it was for each of us. John and I are so blessed with in our neighborhood! This is an example of how the folks take time to get to know our  personal interests. I had already thought and felt it to be a most glorious morning
when I got the call,
"Want to come over to see the hibiscus?"
Above and following show you my response!

JOHN'S FAVORITE FLOWER

Our Camille came in today to ask,
"Have you seen your iris?"
The answer had to be,"No," since
 we showed such complete surprise.
However, here is the "YES!" response
as soon as I could put shoes on my feet
and get my cell phone in hand!
I went out and there was John's
favorite flower in full bloom!

BUDS HAVE BLOSSOMED!

...and could we ask for more?

AND THEN . . . FOLLOWING THE NEW BUDS . . .

Along came some fine (as in texture) hail, soon followed by icy rain that seems determined to stick around. Notice how well it has made a lovely blanket "around" the tiny branches. Still, we must admit there is absolute beauty in it's applications! Just look at what it has added to the cactus and ENJOY!
