THE END OF THE DAY
Could anything be more beautiful? As I returned from getting our mail, I decided I'd better grab my camera so I could see if I could catch the last rays to preserve and share.

PINK ABOUNDS!
My cell phone was busy that same day as with the Plumbago, when I looked up to discover these
beautiful Mexican Petunia blooms as well!
Judging from the number of buds, many more blossoms will receive a welcome one day soon!

FEEL BLUE NO MORE!
I could not help but take advantage of the opportunity to get these pictures when I discovered the several Plumbago offerings outside one of our medical facilities I had reason to visit today. I have never been more impressed with the quality of a cell phone photo than I was when I got these and others downloaded to my computer! Enoy.

WELCOME LITTLE VISITORS
I was pleasantly surprised to see these beautiful dime-sized wild Indian strawberry blossoms hiding in our back yard grass this morning . To me they are more than pretty little blooms ~ they are reminders of times spent with my very dear friend, Freda Willard, in Northern Maine with the better known tiny white strawberry blossoms that grow into full-grown ripe, red berries. What a delightful memory this morning! And, yet, what amazing beauty is included in each individual tiny yellow bloom all on its own!

ORIGINAL DESERT IN THE CITY
Here is the original "DESERT IN THE CITY"
August 25, 2011
Yesterday when I took and posted what has now been named "DESERT IN THE CITY PART II", I was unaware of the closeness of the photography dates, day-and-month-wise,though five years apart. This morning,it was with pleasure I was able to print the old and the new to deliver to or new neighbors as a welcome to our neighborhood. It is a true blessing to be able to see such beauties as we leave the end of our alley on whatever new venture we meet for the day.

A SPIRITUAL COLORING BOOK COMING SOON
JoDitt Danley Williams (whom you may have “met” thru
Pinterest as did I) is in the process of developing a scriptures coloring book
for adults and teen girls.
A few weeks
back as part of her preparation plan, she invited interested parties to join
her launch team, to be the first to see, color, comment, and encourage her in
her pursuit. I could hardly click those application keys fast enough. Thrilled once word came of my being accepted, I’ve been busy
with my free coloring pages, adding my comments and suggestions, “oohing” and “ahhing” over the work of my fellow-launchettes and generally having a great time. ~
JoDitt says it’s now
time to share outside our private group by passing her information to those of
you who might also have an interest in spiritual coloring so I created this collage
to give you an idea of some of JoDitt's designs.
JoDitt adds if any of you want more info, or want to be one
of the first to know when the coloring book is released, please sign
up on her website at:
Once signed on there, you will receive access to her
free printables library, which includes a couple of pages that will be in the
book. Come on and join the fun!
