A PEACEFULPLACE

When I came upon this scene, I had
only my cell phone, so the clarity is not
what I wish but "you get the picture"!

Our first-ever purple iris!
Kay Rollins gave several
bulbs to John last fall and
and it was with great excite-
ment I hurried in to tell him
when I saw this!

3-24-2017  Day 2 of Picture-
Taking of Purple Iris #1 as she
was having fun playing in the breezy sunlight and shadows.
Thank you so much for this
added beauty,Kay!

This demands no explanation for only one viewer! For the rest of you, I have that one friend who posted a comment on my yellow roses, "Pretty, but I prefer carnations." Anyone have any comments?  :-)

SPRING AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD

The aged wood that accompanies this rose is
of amazing beauty to my eyes.
Each spring each astounding individual petal is a tribute
to its Creator with Whom I thoroughly enjoy sharing
a view with my dear friend, Joni Zipp Brandt!
Here, I believe, is Lemon Verbena, reminiscent of
Laura Ingalls Wilder, author of the Little House On the Prairie stories. These tiny flowers grow wild in our yard each year, about half the size of a dime. How amazing is the perfection of each one!
